The NMTA is responsible for moving the motor transport industry's agenda in Carson City and throughout the various levels of government in Nevada. The NMTA provides a united voice for the industry on those issues that impact our members' businesses. NMTA monitors a wide array of issues including:

NMTA's lobbying staff has many long-standing relationships in the State Assembly and State Senate. Our mission is to ensure that the NMTA agenda is heard and understood by our Legislators. We work with American Trucking Associations to monitor all federal legislation that impacts our industry.
